hmmmm

so what do you think about the new dA look?

I quite like it, it just could be more... elegant.

I don't like the fact that my profile disappeared and deviations don't open "zoomed in".

and I don't understand those dots in "recent watchers".

oh well.

my subscription is almost over and it means this is probably my last photo-journal.

maybe it's time to make a blog and put my photos there.

just like

it's sad that some of the great photographers are leaving dA.

anyway, this photo makes me smile...

over and over again.

I'd love to know what he's thinking...

or rather not.

here's another child...

he looks like a king in his pram.

and another one...

not that funny.

maybe you've already noticed kids are my favourite objects to photograph.

and benches.

and weird people.

just like here...

look at that man's i-want-to-kill-her expression...

I know he's out of focus, but whatever. I just like his face.

and I like this face, too.

I'm sure she has nothing to do the whole day but spying people.

maybe she's a spy-woman!

a friend of mine borrowed my camera, waited for the right moment and took this...

it seems like he has talent!

I usually don't wait for the right moment. I'm not patient.

when the moment comes...

it just comes.

or not.

sometimes, when you're waiting for a tram, a dog comes

I was surprised she didn't hide her face.

and they didn't hide their faces either...

I made this shot...

and some man started to talk to me:

"you like to shoot stairs?? you know, I'm a photographer and I love shooting stairs as well..."

the weirdest people always talk to me.

sometimes I'm weird, too...

maybe now I should post a photo of weird-myself.

but I won't... I don't know which one to choose :p

soo... thank you so much for the favs and watches... and especially for the continuing support. and for the nice notes and comments. I appreciate that... really. :)

bye!

this is the first photo I've ever made...

(in the middle :P)

I was about six and my parents let me use their camera.

and this is one of the first photos of me...

maybe you wouldn't agree, but I think it's perfect.

just like this...

damn, I love that camera!

it's amazing.

and it's 30d.

this is one of the first photos I made with that camera...

it's so fast!

I enjoy even making photographs of flowers...

it's nothing like with my little olympus

x

quite a difference, huh?

but... it's hard to make spy-photos. people notice the camera and try to hide their faces.

not like this woman, though

I think she was too hungry.

hm... my last deviation was submited two months ago. that's quite a long time.

but... what should I submit? I dunno...

those pegs?

my chess set?

sunset?

some boy asked me if I like sunsets. I said no. because it's kitsch.

he was surprised. a girl who doesn't like watching the sunset? hm...

my dad liked that photo... but... he likes almost all of my photos.

anyway, I hope you liked them, too.

I'm still playing with my new friend.

p.s. I want to say thanks to those who helped me to decide... so... thank you! :)

if you...

Fri Jul 21, 2006, 11:09 AM
...were me, would you buy this camera

?

I know, I wanted a better camera, but now, when I have a chance to have this one, I'm just not sure.

oh well.

what else?

james blunt was in prague.

(sorry for the quality which is actually no quality)

the concert was nice. I'm not a fan of his music, but it was just nice.

this is James in action...

and this is *Ciril in action...

I think he has no idea I took some photos as well ;)

I can't forget... I had my first don't-make-photos adventure!

I didn't even want to make this photo...

he noticed me, came to me, and said "it's forbidden to make photographs here."

I looked at him with a "wtf?" face.

and he said "it's forbidden to make photographs close to the cigarette. because the cigarette is waiting for me."

so he took the cigarette (used, lying on the path) and came away. no, I didn't get it.

I have never seen so many pink skirts together...

quite amazing, huh?

this is my friend running

and this is me spying

and this photo makes me laugh

my other photos are on my friend's laptop. so it means I don't have them.

enjoy the summer! :)

and by the way... make sure to watch

  • Listening to: Eric Clapton - Tears In Heaven

just another boring journal...

Tue Jul 4, 2006, 2:02 PM
... full of my photos and prates, twaddles and blethers (are these the right words? I don't know, I just found them in a dictionary)

I need to have this t-shirt. or at least the guy who's wearing it.

ok, maybe not, these talking t-shirts are mostly liers.

nice?

oh well.

my friend has a t-shirt saying 'blondes are better than brunettes'

that's true, no? ;)

just kidding.

have you ever written a birthday wish on a swimming ring?

well, I did.

I just like creativity and originality.

I'm wondering when my journals start to be uncreative, unoriginal and... boring.

I make photos of people, because they are the most interesting objects to photograph. in my humble opinion, of course.

can be a human face boring?

sometimes, I make non-people photos, too

but... there's no 'adventure' in making photos of standing buildings, statues, monuments, etc.

everyone can do that. there's no need to have the courage to make a photo of a stone face.

like I said, no adventure.

boring.

for me, at least.

try to guess what this photo means...

italian boys left mcdonald's.

(congrats by the way! ;))

look at the skirt on the left

my friend said it must be a belt.

I like interesting things.

this couple was interesting indeed...

and this one as well...

and kids, they are interesting always

she cried so much because of her shoes :)

well, maybe she had another reason, but I forgot to ask.

so... I'm going to enjoy summer... out of prague... I won't be online for about two weeks.

hope you're enjoying summer, too! :sun:

last week...

Tue Jun 27, 2006, 1:22 PM
so... summer is finally here. :sun:

and tourists are so colorful in these days.

just look at their hats :aww:

I love benches. especially with people on them.

I watched this couple for a while...

her pose was very interesting. and her pink trousers as well.

even homeless are in color.

and this little girl...

wanted to touch the statue so badly...

she was so happy when she made it.

I've been to this exhibition...

[link]

it's very interesting....

... to see how people are changing.

it's interesting to see how the weather is changing, too.

before

and now

this garden is a beautiful place... and... they have the best ice cream there.

some people go there to make photos.

just like him...

okay, people make photos anywhere

and I like shooting them when they're shooting.

well, sorry for the amount of my photos... but... it could be worse. ;)

hope you liked them!
